First contact

🧑‍🔧 Responsibility: Angel Father

During initial contact, it is the Angel Father's responsibility to ensure that the startup being submitted is a good fit with Angels Way:

• Stage - ideally pre-seed
• Investment terms - clarify the objectives of the round until the startup is submitted in the process
• Geography - company must be based in Portugal
• Operations -

Pre-selection

🧑‍🔧 Responsibility: Angel Father

In the pre-selection phase (before the first vote), you should facilitate discussion on the respective Slack channel. Call on the Angels to give their opinion, manage the discussion, and summarize the Angels' questions and suggestions.

How to build a template in AW

If the startup is approved in pre-selection:

🧑‍🔧 Responsibility: Angel Father

• Schedule the first and second calls with the startup founder, prepare the feedback document to be used during each call.
  • If necessary, consult the call preparation process and respective templates.
  • Facilitate and manage the respective discussion channel on Slack.
  • Maintain all communication with the founder to collect documents or other resources requested by the AW community and make them available in the correct locations for accessibility by the AW community.
• The followingis mandatory during calls:
  • The Angel Father must be present to lead the meeting.
  • At least one Angel Promoter must be present.
  • Only the Angel Father and Angel Promoter may speak during the call.
  • The Angel Promoter is responsible for recording the call.
